Donna, B.Sc., C.D.R.
Office Manager

Donna grew up in Mississauga, Ontario and attended the University of Toronto, where she received her B.Sc. in 1978, with a major in Psychology.  She then worked in Toronto’s financial district for nine years as the supervisor of foreign/overseas trades.  Donna and her family moved to London in 1987, where she began working with Dr. Lin as a receptionist/financial coordinator.  She received her designation as a Certified Dental Receptionist in 1989.

Donna has completed several continuing education courses, including studies in Finance, Services, Practice Management, Human Resources and Communications.  She has also taken a business course through the Ivey Business School at the University of Western Ontario.

Donna very much enjoys the personal communications and relationships she shares with Dr. Lin’s clients.  Donna’s laughter can be heard most days in the office, as can her singing…Though some people have suggested she keep her day job!

When not at the office, Donna loves hitting a couple of buckets of balls at the driving range.  If it’s raining, cuddling up to read a novel hits the spot!

Carla, B.A., P.D.A.
Receptionist

Carla grew up in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.  She then moved to London and attended the University of Western Ontario where she received her B.A. in languages in 1982.  She also obtained her certification as a Preventive Dental Assistant in1993.

Today Carla works as a front desk receptionist where she enjoys meeting and communicating with the patients. 

Marion Buccella, R.D.H., B.A.
Dental Hygienist    

Marion graduated from the St. Clair College dental hygiene program in 1978 with top honours.  For the following 13 years she was employed as a registered dental hygienist in a busy general practice in Windsor, Ontario.

In 1991 Marion, along with her husband and two daughters, moved to London.  Shortly after the move, she joined Dr. Lin and his dedicated, enthusiastic dental team.  "I love being part of an office that not only prides itself on its clinical excellence, but also encourages a friendly, caring atmosphere.  My main motivation in the office is to help all patients achieve and maintain their best possible oral health.  My areas of focus include the prevention and treatment of gum disease and orthodontics.”

Marion attended the University of Western Ontario as a part-time student working towards her B.A. in Psychology.  In June 2007 she achieved her goal and graduated with distinction.  On her days off, Marion enjoys reading, scrapbooking, gardening and photography.  She snapped most of the photos seen on this website.

Janice Marshall, R.D.H.
Dental Hygienist

Janice graduated from the Dental Assisting Program at Canadore College in North Bay, Ontario with honours in 1988.  She then decided to further her dental career by attending Canadore College for their Dental Hygiene Program, graduating in 1991.

She joined Dr. Lin’s office in 1992, and since then has been striving to educate patients about their dental well-being, particularly in the field of periodontics, or gum disease.  Janice says, “It is our main office goal to help people maintain optimum oral health”, and while she may be tiny, she holds her own when it comes to fighting gum disease (aka, the Evil Gingivitis).   Providing such services, along with Dr. Lin and the rest of the staff gives her great satisfaction.

Megan, C.D.A. II
Certified Dental Assistant, Level II

Megan was born and raised in London.  She graduated from Fanshawe College in 2007 as a certified level II dental assistant.  Megan completed the clinical placement portion of her Fanshawe College Dental Assisting diploma at Wonderland Family Dentistry.  She was such an asset, Dr. Lin elected to hire her as a full time chair side assistant.  Megan spends her days assisting Dr. Ip and they share a similar sense of humour, though it’s hard to hear Megan’s giggles over Dr. Ip’s laughter. Megan is a wonderful addition to the team, with her high spirited attitude and strong work ethic.

Amanda, C.D.A. II
Certified Dental Assistant, Level II

Amanda, originally from Wallaceburg, graduated in 2003 at the top of her class from the St. Clair College Level II Dental Assisting program. Since then, she has been employed full time in various locations including Windsor, Dresden, and St, Thomas. She became a part of Dr. Lin's team in February of 2008.
Now working directly with Dr. Lin, Amanda enjoys learning new techniques, and working with the latest technology.  On her days off, Amanda enjoys going for walks, photography, acoustic guitar, and spending time with friends and family.

Lisa, C.D.A. II
Certified Dental Assistant, Level II

Lisa was raised in a small farming community along the shores of Lake Erie in Norfolk County, and later moved to London where she attended Fanshawe College for Dental Assisting. After graduation in mid 2008 as a Certified Dental Assistant, Level II she completed her placement at Dr. Lin’s office and later accepted a full time position as part of our clinical staff.
 
In her spare time Lisa enjoys reading, watching suspense movies, sewing, spending time with her husband as well as friends and family.

Amy, C.D.A., Level II
Certified Dental Assistant, Level II

Amy was also born and raised in the London area. She graduated from Fanshawe College in 2008 as a Certified Dental Assistant II. We were pleased to have her join our office team in August 2009. Amy is a treat to have in the office, always ready to jump in and lend a hand when and wherever needed. She is the proud mother of two little girls. When not working, she spends her free time taking walks with her husband, two daughters and the family dog, scrapbooking and watching action movies.
